Welcome to the PBFA

The Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association was founded in 1974, with just 20 members, in order to provide provincial bookdealers with a shop window in London by holding a regular book fair. More than a quarter of a century on we have around 550 members and organise around 100 book fairs a year. Two new fairs have also just been added to our 2010 list - see the news page for details

The PBFA manages around 100 book fairs each year, and our 2010 calendar is as full as ever. The printed version is available from our fairs, shops, and office, or you can download a PDFversion here

PBFA Members

Members of the PBFA are experienced and reputable booksellers, with a wealth of knowledge covering almost every area of bookselling and collecting. For a detailed list of members, please consult the Dealer Directory.

Directory of Antiquarian & Secondhand Bookshops

The first edition of this free, full colour, 64 page booklet is now out of stock - but a fully revised edition will be available later in 2010. It lists members of the PBFA who own and/or manage dedicated bookshops and provides full details of opening hours and type of stock carried.
