Book Description

This is a meticulous work on birds' eggs by the former Senior Assistant-Keeper of Zoology at the natural History Museum, (London). The plates are visually stunning and are a joy to view for anybody who appreciates the chromolithographic process in its heyday. It includes various rarities like 2 eggs of the Great Auk.
