Book Description

Edited by George Stringer Rowe. Two volumes in one, half title to both, frontis to volume two only. All other illustrations are present, two in colour, just the frontis for volume one missing. Fonding map previously poorly folded with edge marks, not affecting image. Three plates have edge damage, two have been repaired. Green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Decoration to the front board. Boards are marked and generally grubby. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Evidence of sticker removal to spine (potentially ex-library?). Mild foxing to the page edges. The binding is loose; the bundles are separating. Textblock is rather grubby. Additional photos are available upon request.
