‘Memoirs of Major-General Sir Henry Havelock KCB’ ~ by John Clarke Marshman; pub by Longmans, Green, Reader, And Dyer 1878, New Edition; bound in brown calf with 5 raised bands and gilt decoration with title on purple leather; design on front cover regarding it being a school prize, marbled end papers and marbled edges; 8vo format, 438pps, no illustr but frontispiece is a photo of Sir Henry; inscription on inside page; some slight foxing on front and back pages; the leather is very slightly worn on the top of front cover to the spine and there is a slight crack, otherwise book is in excellent condition and the book is very tight in the binding.
