Book Description
Whereas John Kirby of Henderskelf, on returning from Malton Fair, about Seven O' Clock in the Evening of the Eleventh instant, was stopped by a Foot-pad, upon the Road leading from thence to Coneysthorpe, and robbed of a silver watch: a one Guinea Bank Note; a seven Shillings Piece; twelve Shillings in Silver; and a Promissory Note drawn for thirty Pounds. The said Foot-pad is a stout Man, about six Feet High; had on a dark-coloured Jacket; white Trowsers, and a Soldier's Cap. Notice is therefore hereby given, That a Reward of 10 GUINEAS will be paid to any Person or Persons who will give such Information as will accomplish the Apprehension and Conviction of such Offender.
