OUR April ONLINE BOOK FAIR
Information
In these strange and unsettling times, we are sure that many of you are missing the pleasure of attending book fairs and the serendipity of discovering a “must have” book that you didn’t know existed.
To rectify this situation, we have invited members of the PBFA to each select 3 books from their stock that have not previously been on the PBFA website. Each book is illustrated, and just like a normal book fair, you deal directly with the exhibitor selling the book. Contact the dealer by phone or email to arrange payment methods, delivery, etc. Remember, the PBFA has a code of conduct, so although you cannot physically handle the book you can buy with confidence.
Whilst it can never be the same as a real life flesh and blood fair, we are hopeful that the offer of new stock across a range of subject matters and at a range of prices will go some way to satisfy the bibliomanic urge until we are able to return to normal service. If this fair, which opens at 12 noon on the 29th April, is deemed successful then we will run further virtual fairs on a monthly basis. But if a month is too long to wait, then why not explore the near 6000 books that are already listed on www.pbfa.org under “members books for sale”.
