This is an interesting old shipping Broadside, Transport Ticket advertising that The ship “The John” based at Beal’s Wharf, Southwark, London, and is now loading for Plymouth and Plymouth Dock dated July 23rd 1816 signed by David Griffin, The Wharfinger at Beal’s Wharf for the transport of one Hamper, the handbill is also lists the places that goods being delivered to Plymouth can then be further transported on to towns in Cornwall measuring 7 inches by 5 inches approx, with some edge and creasing wear, some marking, and a central spike hole, else in good general condition
