THE KENNET & AVON CANAL CONVEYANCE TO AND FROM LONDON AND BRISTOL 1821 This is a scarce old broadside dated January 1st 1821 advertising that a company called Betts & Drewe have Fly Barges which leave the Steel Yard, Upper Thames Street, London, and Queen Street Wharf, Bristol every Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday, and are thus available for the transport of goods between the two cities, the journey taking four to five days, The broadside measures 9 inches by 7.25 inches approx., and is signed and dated by the Wharfinger of Bristol wharf on February 28th 1825 general browning along with some loss along top edge not affecting the printed area, and a small punch hole in centre with no loss
