Rebound in full black leather. Three raised bands to spine. Gilt lettering on red leather patch to spine. Gilt lettering on a raised patch to front board. 5.75ins x 4ins, vignette title page, iv, 489pp plus folding frontis of Brighton Pavilion, 23pp plates (each containing 4 views) and 21 maps/town plans of which 5 are folding. Maps are bound in at the rear. Light foxing to the frontis Some age toning / staining - the last few plates being more affected. A tightly bound well preserved copy.
