This is a interesting album used to record a journey from Tilbury Docks in England in 1926 onboard the S.S. Mongolia to Australia,
The unnamed author gives account of the ships crew which included Lascars, Goanese Stewards, photos of crew and some of the fellow passengers, the ships progress through the Mediterranean, passing close to North Africa.
A stop at Malta with a detailed illustrated account of their time there,
Then onto Egypt and Port Said with an illustrated account of the Egyptian city, and the journey through the Suez Canal, then through the Red Sea, Port Soudan,
Then onto Sri Lanka and the port city of Colombo, a motor drive to Kandy with accounts of the people and customs, a ride on elephants,
Then the journey onto Australia passing the Cocos islands, arriving in Australia at Freemantle then a bus rid to Perth, with an account of the city, then onto Adelaide, with some of the passengers going onto Melbourne and Sydney

Covers are marked and worn else in good condition
