Steel engraved map of Bath. Plan dimensions 44 x 52.5 cm, margins trimmed close to neatline as issued. A detailed and striking folding plan of Bath, orientated with north towards the right edge, on a scale of approximately 13.5 inches to one mile. The city crest to the upper left corner and with the title to the lower left within a vignette illustration of the Royal Crescent. Dissected into 12 sections and mounted on linen, folds into original marbled paper slipcase with the publisher's printed label to the upper board. An excellent example. OCLC lists only three copies, all held at the British Library, with dates between 1810 and 1825 and either published by C. or H. Godwin.
