80pp + detailed hand coloured folding map in pocket at rear. 1st ed. very fine in old quarter calf with marbled boards. The map has been reinforced on the back but is complete and in fine condition. 22.5 x 17"Gives a detailed record of property sales from 1766 and shows the lots still available for purchase together with information on the state of the island. The map, which is dated 1773, is similar to the 1776 Byres plan but smaller and is unrecorded by Tooley. Ragatz p. 224; Sabin, 25309.
