Le Hollandois Raisonnable ou sort digne d’envie par Mr De St. Quenain, MDCCXLI. Amsterdam: chez le veuve P. de Coup, et G. Kuyper, 1741. First edition. Three volumes. Vol 1: xii, 459 (1); Vol 2: [ii], 474; Vol 3: [ii] 432. Title pages in red and black, with engraved vignette: Vol 1: Frontis and three plates, Vol 2: two plates (one with early hand colour, presumably by a child), Vol 3: one plate. In total therefore, frontis and six plates. Collated and correct, but without the advertiser, which has been excised, which comes after the preface to volume 1. Contemporary vellum in good condition. Early signature to flyleaf of volume one: A Smethlage, Hamstrat [?], small 20 cent. Later ex-libris to front paste down.
