Hardback. 40pp. Full maroon leather with gilt titles to spine and gilt titles surrounded with stylised roses as a heart shaped wreath. Gilt inside dentelles. Black text is enlivened with illustrated red initial letter to each page. Colour frontis. with tissue guard. Black and white illustrations to title page. Spine is faded with a little surface wear. Front endpapers are starting to crack to the joint to approx 2 inches down from the head. Binding remains sound. Very clean.
