A facsimile of The Noble Lyfe & Natures of Man, of Bestes, Serpentys, Fowles & Fisshes, Antwerp, c. 1521, an English translation by Lawrence Andrew of the Dutch, Der Dieren Palleys (Antwerp: Jan van Doesborgh, 1520), a version of the Hortus Sanitatis, containing only the sections on animals, birds and fishes. The connection of these two works with the Hortus Sanitatis had been overlooked by bibliographers until the research of Noel Hudson (outlined in his Introduction to this facsimile).
