Also a Compendious Account of its State Amongst the Ancient Greeks and Romans tending to Illustrate the Urgent Necessity of Legislative Interference and the Merits of the Bill About to be Presented to Parliament by the Apothecaries and Surgeon-Apothecaries of England and Wales. Green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine and black lettering to front on a title label. Boards are generally in very good order. Slight bumping to corners. Spine is intact and bright with just a little bumping to ends. The pages have been hand cut and hence are rather ragged. New endpapers. Not signed by the author but handwritten "from the author". Two stamps from the Royal Veterinary College. Textblock is generally clean for its age and well held. Additional photos are available upon request.
