Bill and the Mary Ann Shaughnessy
Book Description
A childrens story set on the River Cam & East Anglia (based on C..C.'s boating holidays in the 1950's) this scarce book was issued for the library market but was never bought, plain unlettered library cloth boards but no stamps or other marks to indicate intended library status other than a small "library binders" label inside rear cover. 'Brothers Jonathan and Malcolm, and their friend Joe, go on a boating holiday in the Fens. Bill, the family's troublesome and stubborn bull terrier, is allowed to come too, and his courage and spirit are tested to the full when the boys sail straight into a criminal venture.'
