Dealer Notes
First edition, wrappers issue. An account of the family of the poet and classical scholar A.E. Housman (1859-1936) and its connexions with Bromsgrove. The author was (like A.E. Housman) an alumnus of Bromsgrove School and lived for almost 20 years at Housmans, the birthplace of the poet. The appendices of Bromsgrove and the Housmans include a number of previously unpublished poems and family letters by A.E. Housman, and the book was published in a trade issue in wrappers (as here) and a signed, limited edition of 100 copies in boards.
