Inscribed by the author with love to Clare Throckmorton. Loosely inserted are a typed quote from the first line of "The Horses and the Angels" by Agnes Nemes Nagy and an inscribed card to Clare: Botticelli Angel of the Annunciation, from Hungary. "There is a small island in the Danube, near Rackeve. Its name is Angel Island - maybe not by chance..." From the introduction. Karoly Hemzo, photographer, was born in Budapest in 1928. A scarce title.
