De Aere, Locis, & Aquis Terrae Angliae; Doque morbis Anglorum Vernaculis. Cum Observationibus Ratiocinatione & Curandi Methodo Illustratis
Book Description
Contemporary full brown leather binding with repaired spine - probably 19th century, red title label and gilt lettering. Double blind ruling and floral tooling to each corner, not so visible due to rubbing and scuffing to both boards as seen in photos. Slight dryness to hinges but all still held firmly together. Title leaf with double rule border. Internally clean with a touch of age toning and spotting as expected to a copy of its age. Some offsetting to text, making it harder but not impossible to read. A few small closed edge tears, otherwise in good condition. A1 is blank, that could indicate that there is a page missing, perhaps the pre title page. However from researching other copies only we think it is safe to say that the book is complete and as published. [xxxxviii], 180pp. '17th Century medicine, talking about the air and water, English-born diseases and methods of treatment'.
