Lucien (Lucianus; Loukianos; Lucian), Maillol, Aristide (1861-1944). Dialogues des courtisanes. Traduit du grec par Charles Astruc. Illustrated with 35 original lithographs by Aristide Maillol. Paris, Henri Creuzevault et Dina Vierny, 1948, (2),92,(8) pag., 35 original lithographs by Aristide Maillol (the greater part monogrammed on the stone), printed under the direction of Fernand Mourlot, printed on handmade "papier spécial pur chanvre" by Canson et Montgolfier in 275 numbered copies (225) by master-printer Pierre Bricage, in quires as issued in original full vellum wrappers with printed title, original halfvellum chemise with title in ink, board slipcase, folio (39 x 30,5 cm.).

= Monod 7468. The lithograph stones were destroyed after the printing. A beautiful book production in impeccable condition.
