Early printing of this renowned work. Early full vellum, ownership inscriptions in French and Hebrew to flyleaf, occasional foxing throughout, margin repairs to prelims (without loss of text), frontis backed, engraved portrait frontis, engraved title page, plus 30 plates, that to page 504 corner torn with slight loss to outside lower corner of plate border (approx 2cm). [38], 1090, [146], engraved head and tail pieces throughout. A used example, but a work difficult to find complete and correct. The plates are extremely attractive and depict much of the material and symbolic culture of early religious worship of the Jewish peoples.
