A truly remarkable copy of the first impression which is signed by the author, and dedicated to the author's mother, on the front fly leaf in ink pen and reads: "To dearest Mother with love from her son, the Author- John. 16.3.'34" and further later inscribed by the author's brother in light pencil simply: "AWF Fuller From Mother" There is a little toning to the end papers and mild foxing at the page block edge, fore edge, but this really is an amazingly well preserved copy. The dust jacket, having been wrapped until very recently in a brown paper covering, is in almost flawlessly clean condition and still showing the original price on the inner flap of 10s 6d net. JFC (Boney) Fuller is included in Mark Urban's book, "Generals Ten British Commanders Who Shaped the World" Some accolade indeed. A wonderful and unique copy.
