FIRST EDITION. SIGNED BY STONE, and with 8 ephemeral items of his of printed work. 4to. Fully illustrated with 151 pages of designs, most with several images to each page.
Signed by Stone in black ink on the title page. Also there are 8 pieces of his printed work, one inscribed by Stone on the back, loosely inserted; Prospectus for The Old rectory suite of engravings, Bookplate for David Potter, vignette view with 'keepsake from Reynolds Stone' motif below, Waterfall view on single sheet, Bookplate for Iain Bain, Prospectus for Boxwood suite of engravings, Artist in the woods illustration on single sheet, and A child in the woods illustration printed onto card and inscribed by Stone on the rear 'Dear Norah. My spelling gets worse, please forgive dropt H which I realised the moment I posted jacket. Yours Reynolds' and an ink date stamp, 3 Mar 1975.
A little minor rubbing to the extremities of the boards but still a near fine copy in a very good dustwrapper which has a crease to the front inner flap and a closed tear to the front panel, without any loss. -- Printed at the Curwen Press.
