This map is based on the voyage of Jacque le Moyne and Laudonierre and was issued with De Bry's famous early work on Florida "Brevis Narratio Eorum Quae in Florida Americae Provincia" in 1591. It is a hugely important map and the most celebrated early map of Florida - a must for any collector of Florida maps. The map depicts Florida following the early exploration of Jacques le Moyne and René Goulaine de Laudonnière who established Fort Caroline during a failed French attempt at colonising Florida. An excellent opportunity to obtain this rare and important map.
