Flynn, A.B.
Book Description
Flynn, A.B., E-Laurie Long, Ward, Lock & Co Limited, 1936, First Edition First Impression
The rarest of the collectible Flynn volumes, this is a story about an Irish Captain, who having quarrelled with his young wife, signs on as an A.B., or able-bodied seaman, in a schooner sailing round the Horn. This is a fascinating close-up of life under sail.
This is a First Edition First Impression in very good condition. The binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering bright. The toned end papers and pages are free from marks, tears or inscriptions. The top edge retains some of its original tint.
The brightly coloured, unclipped dust jacket, protected in a clear, removable cover, is in very good condition with some shelf wear to the top edge of the front cover and some darkening to the back cover.
Will be dispatched, fully insured, carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and in a cardboard box.
