Blue/grey boards with gold lettering to the front. Rubbing to the edges and spine, lightly marked to the front and rear. Library card and plate appear to have been removed from the ffep and inside front board. Small tear to the bottom of the ffep. St Ambrose College library stamps to the title page. Thesis typed by Edward Catich (1906 - 1979), Roman Catholic Priest, teacher, and calligrapher. Interspersed within the text are paste down examples of lettering and calligraphy. There are also hand written notes and passages within the book which are believed to be in the authors hand.73 pp. Although there is tanning and a wave the pages are clean throughout.
