Book Description
FIRST EDITION, WITH AUTHORIAL INSCRIPTION. Large 8vo. Original line drawings by M. Ricketts. Bright red cloth, spine lettered in gilt. Marbled endpapers. Gentlest pushing to spine ends, gilt a trifle rubbed, fabulously flamboyant inscription in black pen to title page: “For Phill —/ who never has been thirty/ and never will be thirty —/ Big kiss and thank you/ Shirley Conran”. Else, bright and tidy. In the vibrant red dust jacket, lettered dramatically in gilt and white: spine sunned, a little rubbing to gilt on front panel, nick in laminate at top front corner, flaps a little toned. Still, a sharp copy of Conran and Sidney’s post-thirty self-help guide.
Dealer Notes
