A lovely Victorian book for children, published in 1867 by Whitfield, Green & Son of 178, The Strand, London. Entitled 'Grandmama's Nursery Stories' with a dedication initialed E.G. (the author), this is a collection of stories and verse for 'the amusement' of her grandchildren. Very nice condition book in blue embossed boards; spine with slight split at top. Lovely woodcut illustrations by an uncredited artist.
