This set has been produced by The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds and is dedicated to the memory of H F Withersby - editor of the handbook of British birds. The print run was limited to 5000 copies. All volumes are fabulously illustrated throughout in colour and have straight and tight bindings, clear boards and bright lettering on the spines. All end papers and pages are free from marks, tears and inscriptions. All dust jackets are protected in clear, removable covers. Some minor sunning to spines of dust jackets. Volume I: Ostrich to Ducks Book and dust jacket in fine condition with no issues Volume II: Hawks to Bustards Book and dust jacket in fine condition with a small mark to the back cover. Volume III: Waders to Gulls Book and dust jacket in fine condition with a small mark to the back cover. Volume IV: Terns to Woodpeckers Book and dust jacket in fine condition with small marks to the back cover. Volume V: Tyrant Flycatchers to Thrushes Book and dust jacket in fine condition with a small mark to the front board and small marks to the back cover. Volume VI: Warblers Book and dust jacket in fine condition with no issues. Volume VII: Flycatchers to Shrikes Book and dust jacket in fine condition with no issues. Volume VIII: Crows to Finches Book and dust jacket in fine condition with a small crease to the top corner of the front board Volume IX: Buntings and New World Warblers Book and dust jacket in fine condition with no issues. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
