Book Description
First edition. 8vo. Three Volumes. Vol 1: viii, 248; Vol 2: iv, 259 (1); Vol 3: iv, 302. Original blue publisher s cloth with black lettering to front board and gold letters to spine, rather faded to spine, a little rubbed to foot of volume 2, original floral endpapers present to all three volumes, internally clean. A nice example of rather a rare three decker, one that unusually is set in the Scottish highlands, in the aftermath of the Scots defeat at Culloden. A lively account.
