2 matching volumes. Red cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Both have the bookplate of Richard Augustus Byrde and were presented to Allhallows School library in his name. Boards are generally in good order, just the usual shelfwear. Corners are slightly bumped, edges slightly worn. Spines are faded with bumping to ends and library markings to the base. Foxing to the page edges. Rough cut page edges. Age discolouration to endpages. Textblock is in good condition, clean and tight. Folding map to the rear of volume one has a closed tear at the joint.
