With complete commentary selected from the writings of Poole, Henry, Dodridge, Brown, Coke and other eminent commentators. Some sources give 1812 as the original publication date but the title page of the New Testament is dated 1814 . A non- conformist or ‘dissenter’ was an English subject who advocated religious liberty and belonged to a Non Anglican Church.

A large heavy Bible, this impressive volume is approximately 16.5” x 10.5” x 4.5” in size and would sit majestically on any table or shelf. A uncommon Bible now!
Minor signs of wear to boards and spine but nothing untoward. Contents clean and appear to be complete. Still nice and tightly bound.

Binding Hardback. Black leather spine , titled gilt. Boards black cloth. The binding seems to be original.

Condition Nice clean complete condition although the title page & frontis. Edges have been slightly trimmed and strengthened with old tape (NOT sellotape) The contents page has been similarly strengthened but is not trimmed. See photos.
