JAMES REES & SONS COMPANY, PITTSBURGH (Illustrated Catalogue)
Book Description
James Rees & Sons Company made a speciality of iron & steel hull freight & passenger steamers, tugboats, dredgeboats, towboats & barges for inland waters as well as marine & land engines, and boilers of every type & size. They ceased trading in 1930 just after James Rees' 85th birthday but in their heyday they supplied vessels to Africa, Central America, Europe & Asia. This catalogue provides a really useful compendium of this company's marine output including some of the finest metal hull boats, built over an 80 year period.
