Book Description

John Fothergill was the proprietor of three inn/hotels during his lifetime . More details about his career in hospitality can be found in his autobiography " An Innkeeper's Diary" published in 1931. Clearly a great character and apart from his interest in cooking the biography shows him equally focused on making sure " the wrong sort" were not welcome as customers.
