The Ladies’ Alpine Club was founded in 1907; from 1920 the Club issued a yearbook, which from 1961 became referred to as the Journal. These volumes of the journal contain articles by Nea Morin, Una Cameron, Dorothy Pilley Richard, Dora de Beer, Cicely Williams, Monica Jackson, Denise Evans, Freya Stark, Joyce Dunsheath, Sally Westmacott, and many others. From 1975 the Club’s journal was absorbed by the Alpine Journal,
