LEAGUE OF NATIONS UNION SCRAPBOOK (1931-1945) This is an interesting scrapbook with 110 used pages of newspaper clippings and ephemera on The League of Nations Union, which later became the United Nations Association. The hardback scrapbook measures 31cm tall approx., and starts with articles dated 1931and goes on to around 1945. As well as newspaper articles, there are tickets and small flyers for different events hosted by members of the league. The final pages of the scrapbook cover the period when the league had become the United Nations Association. Some creased page corners, else in very good general condition.

The League of Nations Union (LNU) was an organization formed in October 1918 in Great Britain to promote international justice, collective security and a permanent peace between nations based upon the ideals of the League of Nations.
