The memoirs of an one-armed Englishman who ranched, fought Apaches, and mostly hunted bears with hounds in New Mexico, 1882 - 1900. Educated at Cambridge, he was one of the most literate chroniclers of New Mexico's rural history. A great Old West memoir, and superb hound and horse training book. (Stock ref 6)
