8vo. First editions. pp [x], 42 [4]; [4], 90, [2]; [2], 78; [iv], 188. At the end of the first essay there are two blank leaves, otherwise collates as in ESTC, with the dedication to the reader second part in the first variant. Contemporary panelled calf, labels to spine, edges speckled, a little rubbed to front hinge, but binding sound. Text a little wrinkled to first part, but otherwise clean, with no markings. Collier s essays are uncommon in their original form, and have here been bound together very early on after their publication. ESTC R20832 and R7117.
