Dealer Notes
The work follow’s Martineau’s earlier Caviare and Candy, being a collection of recipes, many obtained from friends, to meet a range of culinary needs. The book is arranged in sections which include several blank pages for notes and is about as far away from today’s faddish and contrived recipe collections for hyperventilating culinerasts as one might wish, being rather in the style of Constance Spry or even Elizabeth David, that is, for adults who cook intelligently rather than merely drool.
