In 3 Vols; 8vo. The books could have been rebound at sometime in their life? Vol 1 1838, 488pps, name inscribed on inside front cover, also a photo from a paper cutting of William Gardiner stuck in inside front cover; a few pencil notations, some slight scuffing to label on spine. Vol 2 1838, 424pps, small library stamp on title page, a 4pp section, p867-870 is loose. Vol 3 1853, 400pps. Some occasional foxing in each volume; covers have some marks and slight wear & tear; books are in good condition aside from what has been noted above. It currently seems as I write this description, that there are no complete sets available for sale - obviously this could change at any time. Scarce
