Light pushing at the spine tips. Original black cloth with printed label to the spine which is clean and complete. Black top-stain is present. Slightly rolled spine with light spotting to the prelims, end-papers and edges. Free from inscriptions. Blue patterned end-papers (possibly designed by E. McKnight Kauffer). The WRAPPER is complete and is in Very Good+ condition. Lightly spotted in places with a short closed tear to the upper spine and a chip to the upper rear edge. The wrapper design by E. McKnight Kauffer is striking in the removable Brodart archival cover. One of McKnight Kauffer's most striking period wrapper designs and very scarce as such.
