Celebrating 50 years of book fairs

Book Description

4to hardback in dustwrapper; these early editions are difficult to date, this book was first published 1917, and this copy was certainly published by 1918, as George Harrap is not yet given as a Limited company, and they became Limited in 1918, so it could be a 1st impression or a 2nd impression, but I cannot say which. The dustwrapper is scarce. As well as the numerous black and white line drawings and decorations, the book contains 8 full page colour plates and the dustwrapper which matches the design of the book cover. The book is in remarkably good clean condition for its age; the dustwrapper is grubby on the rear and has some chipping to edges and a small closed tear; for an Snne Anderson fan, it is a treasure; vg/vg-
