Book Description

This is one of the original Frankenstein Journals created for the 1985 film “The Bride”, Starring Sting as Frankenstein, Jennifer Beals as Eva “The Bride”, Clancy Brown as The Creation “Victor”, the journals main appearance on screen was towards the end of the Movie when Frankenstein tells Eva of her true origin, that she was created in a laboratory, He gives her his journals to read, you can see on screen a scene where she is looking at her own hand while reading a page where Frankenstein has written and illustrated the muscles and ligaments of the hand (see pictures that show some screen shots from the movie, including a side by side image from the book and the scene with Eva looking at the journal page ) the journal is bound in a simulated vellum, measuring 8 inches by 6.5 inches approx., although only a page or two of the journals were seen on screen, the actual journal runs to over 150-Used Pages a few of the pages are repeated to fill out the book, but it looks great, a lot of effort was put into creating the journal, even though only a couple of pages made it to the screen although it looks handwritten, it’s been produced in facsimile, as it was one of a small number of the journals that were created for the film, you do see Sting with some of them in his hands before giving them to Eva, a few of the journals seen in the film had fire damaged covers as they were in his lab when it caught fire, this is one of the journals that has not been simulated to look burnt the journal is in very good condition The Scenes from the film, and the image of the Poster, are for illustrative purposes only.
