Book Description

ORIGINAL CARTOON DRAWING by Martin Honeysett (1943-2015) This is a delightful original bookshop related cartoon drawing from Martin Honeysett whose cartoons appeared in The Daily Mirror, Punch, Private Eye, The London Evening Standard, The Observer, The Sunday Telegraph, The Guardian, and many more publications. This humorous cartoon depicts a fictitious author named Sir Bumfrey-Bliggs arriving late at Hatchards shop to sign copies of his book “My Life as an Explorer”, signed by the artist. The piece on a piece of paper measuring 28cm by 21cm approx., some tape marks to top corners, else in nice general condition.
