A very good set indeed of 2 volumes containing all 4 parts of this considerable work. Green half Calf over green cloth; gilt titles to the spines. Part 1 Dedicated to the Duke of Devonshire Part 2 to the Duke of Rutland Part 3 to the Duke of Norfolk Part 4 to F Chantrey Esq. At the end of Part 4 are 11 pages relating to Flora, Peak Archery and a list of Subscribers. All engraved plates present as called for. The pages are all clean and remarkably fresh although there is some offsetting from the plates. The second volume (Parts 3 and 4) is inscribed by the Author to his Daughter Ellen Rhodes and dated 1824.
