Book Description
Photograph album containing forty six (46) black and white images taken in Russia during 1937. There are images of the Keil Canal, a number of Leningrad (The Winter Palace and environs, Field of Mars, Peter and Paul Prison, Old Lighthouses, Vasilyevsky Island, Park of Rest and Culture, etc); a number of Moscow (St Basil's Church, The Kremlin, Lenin's Museum and The Bolshoi); also images of Collective Farms, one of an old man with a horse drawn cart titled 'Oldest imhabitant?', children at orphanages and holiday camps, Parachute jumps and two of a Mosque. Each image measures 3.5" x 2.5" and have been printed on Kodak Velox paper. Images have been captioned in the album and are in Fine condition.Externally the album is in very good condition; internally quite a few pages are loose.
