CONDITION
A very good first edition. The dust jacket has a few small pieces missing from the edges as can be seen in the images provided but the price still remains intact on the inside front flap. The jacket is now protected in a removable protective sleeve. The cloth binding is very good with no stains or damage. Font endpaper has a name written and dated Christmas 1930. All contents present and pages clean throughout and free from foxing, stains etc. All 8 colour plates in very good condition. Overall a lovely copy of this elusive Nielsen title.
Dealer Notes
This is Kay Nielsen's fifth book, produced in a more modest format than the earlier gift books. With striking illustrations. Includes such classic fairy tales such as Bluebeard, Aladdin and The Six Swans, The Three Bears, etc.
