Dealer Notes
Overall a superb example, probably hard to find better. John Smeaton (1724 - 1792) was known as the Father of Civil Engineering and this is the record of his remarkable body of work, including the Eddystone Lighthouse off Plymouth, the Aire & Calder Navigation Canal in Yorkshire, Wheal Busy in Cornwall and Ramsgate Harbour.
