Dealer Notes
In the late Spring of 1994, 25-year old Jacqueline Rochelle "Rocky" Broussard is living in Chicago. After her parents fail to show up to her PhD conferment, she receives a telephone call to say that her mother has been hospitalized. Accompanied by her girlfriend, Lucy Devoyard, Rocky returns to her home town of LaBelle, in southeast Texas, where she is shocked to learn that her father and brothers have been murdered. When the official investigation quickly stalls through lack of evidence, Rocky and Lucy, aided by Rocky's uncle Remy and Peter "Bull" Levine, now Jefferson County Sheriff, set out to find the killer themselves.
